2026-03-24 - Canon T70 Camera (body only)

 

The Canon T70 is a 35mm FD-mount SLR film camera introduced in April 1984. It was the second model in Canon's T-series and represented a major shift from traditional analog dials to a computerized interface featuring a large LCD panel and push-button controls. It won the 1984 European Camera of the Year award, offering shutter-priority and three multi-program modes.

·         Lens Mount: Uses the Canon FD mount, providing access to a wide range of affordable, high-quality vintage lenses.

·         Film Loading & Winding: Fully motorized for automatic loading, winding (0.7 frames per second), and rewinding.

·         Exposure Modes: Features eight different modes, including three dedicated Program AE settings (Standard, Wide, and Tele) designed to prevent camera shake based on the lens type. It also supports Shutter-priority AE and manual mode.

·         Metering: Offers a dual system with centre-weighted average and a selective area (11%) metering mode for difficult lighting.

·         Power Source: Runs on two standard AA batteries located in the grip, for all functions including the motor.

·         Shutter Speeds: Electronically controlled vertical focal-plane shutter ranging from 2 seconds to 1/1000th plus Bulb mode. 

·         Viewfinder: Features a 92% coverage screen with a horizontal split-image/microprism focusing aid.

  The Vivitar 600 is a vintage, pocket-sized 110 film camera from the 1970s, designed as a simple point-and-shoot with a fixed-focus 24mm lens and built-in flash. Featuring a black, plastic design, these cameras are popular among lo-fi photography enthusiasts and collectors, frequently found with a carrying case and powered by AA batteries for the flash.  Key Features and Details: Film Type: 110 cartridge film.
