The Yankee Adjustable Cut & Pack Film Developing Agitank is a specialized daylight tank designed for processing large format sheet film. It is primarily used by photographers who want to develop multiple sheets of film simultaneously without needing a dedicated darkroom for the entire process. 

Key Specifications:

  • Film Compatibility: The adjustable rack accommodates three main sheet film sizes: 4” x 5”, 3.25” x 4.25”, and 2.25” x 3.25”.
  • Capacity: It can process up to 12 sheets of film at one time.
  • Design: Features a removable rack with a translucent flange and a film guide to assist with loading in the dark.
  • Daylight Safe: Once the film is loaded and the lid is secured in total darkness, the rest of the developing process can be performed in normal light.
  • Agitation Style: Agitation is typically performed by sliding or moving the tank in a horizontal plane (left to right) rather than inversion, as the lid is not water-tight.
