The Chinon CE-4s is a Japanese 35mm SLR film camera released in 1981 as an upgraded version of the CE-4. Using a versatile Pentax K-mount, this camera boasts a 1/2000s top shutter speed, a f/1.7 or f/1.9 / 50mm kit lens, and a built-in multiple exposure function. It is highly regarded for its accurate metering and "Judas window" in the viewfinder.

  • Mount & Lens: Pentax K-mount, allowing for a wide range of lens options. Kits usually include a sharp f/1.7 or f/1.9 / 50mm prime lens.
  • Exposure Modes: Aperture priority automatic (with stepless speeds) and full manual control.
  • Shutter: Electromagnetic metal focal plane shutter with speeds from 4 to 1/2000 sec (plus Bulb).
  • Viewfinder: Bright with split-image/microprism focusing aids and an LED scale showing shutter speeds.
