2026-05-05 - Paterson High Speed 12×16 Print Washer

 

The Paterson High Speed 12x16 Print Washer is a specialized darkroom tool designed to quickly and thoroughly wash Resin Coated (RC) or polyethylene (PE) photographic papers. It is not recommended for fibre-based (FB) papers, which require much longer wash times and different agitation methods.

  • Rapid Washing: Completes a full archival wash for RC prints in just 2 to 4 minutes.
  • High Turbulence Flow: The design creates controlled water turbulence across both sides of the print, ensuring the comprehensive removal of all residual processing chemicals.
  • Versatile Sizing: While optimized for prints up to 12 x 16 inches (30.5 x 40.6 cm), it includes clip-in separators to keep smaller prints organized and separated during the wash cycle.
  • Complete Kit: Typically supplied with a domestic tap (faucet) adapter, and both inlet and outlet hoses for immediate integration into your darkroom setup.
  • Splash Guard: The 12x16 model specifically features a 3-inch wide splash guard over the inlet hose to prevent accidental mess in the darkroom.
