Kindermann stainless steel developing tanks are premium, German-made darkroom tools renowned for their durability and leak-proof performance. Unlike plastic alternatives, these stainless steel tanks do not retain chemical odours, are easier to clean, and allow for rapid temperature adjustments during processing. 

Key Features:

  • Material: High-quality brushed stainless steel construction for long-term reliability.
  • Lid Design: Often features a specialized light-proof plastic or PVC lid with a separate small cap for adding and draining chemicals in daylight.
  • Solution Capacity:
    • Single 35mm Reel Tank: Requires approximately 250ml (8 oz.) of developer.
    • Double Reel/120 Tank: Typically holds 500ml (16 oz.), suitable for two 35mm reels or one 120/220 reel.
  • Reel Compatibility: Best paired with Kindermann or Hewes stainless steel reels. Hewes reels are often preferred for their "fumble-proof" prongs that engage film sprocket holes for easier loading in the dark.
