The Sankyo EM-40XL is a highly versatile Super 8 movie camera manufactured in Japan by Sankyo Seiki MFG Co. around 1979. It delivers excellent low-light performance and advanced features in a lightweight, compact body weighing just 800 grams. It is highly regarded by hobbyists for its sharp images and robust electromagnetic shutter system, making it a versatile choice for capturing professional-feeling footage.
