2026-06-11 - Paterson 8 x10 Developing Tray


 

The Paterson 8 x10 Developing Tray is a darkroom tray designed to accommodate photographic film and prints up to 8 x 10 inches. Molded from thick, chemical-resistant polypropylene, these trays are highly durable and suitable for both educational and industrial use. 

Key Features:

  • Base Ribbing: Ensures prints do not stick to the bottom and provides structural rigidity while minimizing the amount of chemical solution needed.
  • Thermometer Support: The patented design includes a molded indentation on one edge that prevents your thermometer from sliding into the chemical solution.
  • Pouring Lip: Every tray features an extra-large pouring lip to minimize chemical splashes and allow for drip-free emptying.
  • Colour Coding: Trays are typically available in white, red, and gray. Using different colours helps darkroom users easily differentiate between developer, stop bath, and fixer under dim safelight conditions.
