The Hitachi VM-E310A 8mm  - Video Camera Recorder is a handheld 8mm Video8 format analog camcorder originally released in the 1990s. It records standard-definition analog video onto standard 8mm tape cassettes.

  • Media Format: Uses standard Video8 (8mm) analog cassettes.
  • Lens: Features a 16x optical zoom lens paired with a 24x digital zoom capability.
  • Video Quality: Captures and displays in Standard Definition (SD).
  • Display: Includes both a colour viewfinder and an articulating LCD screen
  • Audio: Built-in monaural microphone
  • Power Supply: Runs on rechargeable nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries, but can also run continuously using a compatible Hitachi AC Adapter/Charger plugged directly into the wall
