2026-07-20 - MGI PhotoSuite Photo Editing Computer Program

MGI PhotoSuite Photo Editing Computer Program is a digital photo editing software program originally developed by the Canadian developer MGI Software in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It was highly popular for its user-friendly interface, as opposed to complex programs like Adobe Photoshop, offering beginners simple tools to crop, touch up, remove red-eye, and create projects like calendars and greeting cards.

It was designed to operate with Windows 95, 98, and XP. In 2002, Sonic Solutions acquired MGI Software and subsequently absorbed its technology into Roxio products, effectively retiring the standalone MGI PhotoSuite brand.
